We are a small charity that helps people who have found themselves homeless, marginalised, or suffer from substance misuse addictions by engaging them in a running community to build confidence, strength, self-esteem and, of course, keeping them from their addictions. Our goal is to get members fit for events from races to the three peaks challenge, but fundamentally, we offer much more than that...
A source of supportive camaraderie which gives our members a new focus through the discipline of physical training. The sense of achievement felt can be life-changing.
Members not only become stronger and fitter they also learn how to move better. As they move towards their goals, they develop both mental and physical strength and are truly empowered to move forwards in their lives.
The club not only participates in races but tries to get actively involved in the community, such as marshalling at events. Members therefore not only feel they are giving back but they are also gaining valuable work experience.
The club is run by the members for the members, assisted by volunteers. We meet several times a week in the parks of central London for free training sessions focusing on running drills, running technique and endurance.

We keep our overheads as low as possible. We don't have our own offices and the admin is done for free, but we need donations to keep our classes free to all that need them and help pay for the trips. We regularly do sponsored events but it's time when we could be helping our members. Please click our Virgin Money Giving link or email us to find out more. We can work with corporates for tax efficient donations.
A huge thank you to Sprinklr for making us their Charity of the Year 2016 from all at Home Straight.
